Keystone Pantry Organic Brown Rice Syrup

Organic Brown Rice Syrup is made from the enzymatic reduction of steeped rice into a sugar mixture. This sugar mixture is boiled and reduced to a thicker syrup. This syrup is then decolorated and concentrated. The flavor is complex and often has a nutty flavor to it. Our version of organic brown rice syrup is a direct replacement for high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). We have blended it to be a 42DE sugar level so it can be used just like HFSC.

Brown Rice Syrup also has a similar profile in terms of sweetness level and has a high glycemic index. It has been used in making protein bars most often. It is great for baking and helps to provide moisture in the baked product.

The product is USDA National Organic Program certified and Non-GMO Project verified

The product is packed in either pint bottles or 5-gallon pails. The MOQ is 1 case of 15 bottles, or a single pail.
